MY LIFE IN TRAINS
My Life After the Official ‘End of Steam’
Part Three
Open Days
Photos from Bescot Open Day in 1988 and Doncaster Works Open Days in 1990 and 2003.
The photos from Bescot and Doncaster in 1990 were taken on two 35mm cameras – a Pentax Spotmatic SP500 SLR and a little Olympus viewfinder camera. The photos from Doncaster in 2003 are digital images from a Canon Powershot S45.
I scanned the negatives and slides using a Konica Minolta Dimage Scan Dual IV, and I have cropped and adjusted the film and digital images to get the best I can out of them in Adobe Lightroom.
