MY LIFE IN TRAINS
My Story - Part Eighteen
Crewe, Box Hill and Stratford
At Crewe Works, I renewed my apparent obsession with the L&Y Works shunters. I think it must have been a gloomy day, judging by the quality of the photos from Crewe North and Crewe South sheds.
A few days later, the view was better from the top of Box Hill - we were on a geology/geography field trip from school, and I happened to spy a train in the distance.
And then, a few days later, I was back at Stratford for a couple of early morning shots
