Barnstaple Junction and Exmouth Junction – 5 September 1960
Clutching my rover ticket and the unneeded shed permit, I set off through Exeter to Barnstaple for a visit to Barnstaple Junction shed.
After looking round the shed, I made a return trip to Torrington behind an M7, and then travelled back to Exeter, making my way in the late afternoon to the Southern shed at Exmouth Junction.
I’ve managed to find my notes from this day, so here are the lists of the engines on shed while I was there:
