MY LIFE IN TRAINS
Engine Portraits - Part Ten
Newton Abbot – 3 and 4 September 1960
I was determined to spend time on the middle weekend of the holiday on Newton Abbot station watching the holiday expresses come through, picking up their pilot engines for the South Devon banks. With no permit, I spent the time photographing the activity in the shed yard from the station platform.
You will have seen some of these before if you followed My Story.
