MR 2P 4-4-0 No 40537 stored at the Somerset and Dorset shed at Templecombe on 1 September 1960.
Not one of the Johnson MR 3F 0-6-0s built for the S&DJR - No 43734 is deep in SR territory at Templecombe S&DJR shed on 1 September 1960.
LMSR Ivatt 2-6-2T No 41296 poses outside Templecombe shed on 1 September 1960.
LMSR 2P 4-4-0 No 40569 with another unidentified classmate at Templecombe shed on 1 September 1960.
Some great memories here. But (sorry) 41278 in your list doesn't look right. Can I suggest 41248? Hope you don' mind!
Such evocative pictures of Templecombe shed!
